Review: Just installed - they look great 5*, reliability over time TBC - Good, warm light which is ideal and look great. Not bright white which is what I wanted and lumins enough to light small seating area in the garden without needing another light source. Sellers pictures represent the product well. Extension cable is a valuable part of kit for setting up from remote power outlet. Simple to install. All arrived boxed and packaged really well - inclusion of foam lamp protection is better than expected and good to reuse for storage during winter. Value for money 5* for now as installed in good weather so not tested after rainfall. That said connections seem OK, solid - screw caps and gaskets fittings between strings. Will see how reliable they are over time and if the IP rating stands up to external use description after a summer shower. Fast & efficient delivery 5*
Review: Provides a lovely warm lighting around the patio - I was looking for some festoon lighting for my patio area and spent a LOT of time researching the huge range of options. Even though LED lighting is potentially more cost-effective in the long run and is possibly more sturdy, I specifically chose standard lighting due to the 'warmer' feel of the emitted light. These lights definitely give me everything I want, and I have to say that I am very impressed with the amount of light they actually produce which illuminates the entire seating area nicely. When I first switched them on I noticed that a few bulbs didn't appear to be working, but upon further inspection, it turned out that they were just loose and that screwing them in resolved the problem. This is by no means a fault with how they are assembled, I suspect that the way they are packaged plays a part. The packaging is really sturdy and holds everything in place securely for transit/posting, I suspect that in my excitement to unbox the lights that I simply partially unscrewed the bulbs myself! Would definitely recommend these, and the fact that they can be daisy-chained together means that I can add more if I want to. These lights will really make those summer nights feel extra cosy!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can 2 sets of these be connected together to make the strip lights longer**
A: Yes you can 2 of these set of lights together to have a longer set of lighting x

**Q: How big/size are the bulbs**
A: They are not as big as a standard size bulb, but bigger than a "golf ball" bulb. I am pleased with them. In daylight they are not "in your face", and when lit they give a bright yellow tinge light and look really good. I think they look more expensive than they are. Arrived well packaged and all bulbs working. Jules

**Q: What's the name of the end piece on the cable - thinking 'cap'? I'd like the buy a second cap so the lights can stay up without the cable plug attache**
A: You disconnect the plug end and it joins up to the back end on the first lot of lights

**Q: Can I hardwire this into existing outdoor light fitting ie replace a single light with the string?**
A: Yes I have

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bright and Beautiful
*by A***7 on 1 July 2020*

This product was perfect. Set up was simple and the extra 3m cable was the selling point that also worked well as i didn't want the lights to illuminate the patio area, just the fenced area. The packaging was well presented with foam to support the bulbs ( and spares ). All bulbs were working, though some just needed a turn to connect correctly ( so don't be fooled that one or two are not working ) Overall a really good product and perfect for those summer evenings. Ive also ordered a second set to extend the first. This was very simple as the end has a water proof connection. Just unscrew and attach new set and you have double the length with no issues ( another great reason to purchase these lights )
