**Q: Are these the same bean as fava bean?**
A: The full name is Greek Arosis Fava Beans.

**Q: Are these the same thing as Corona beans?**
A: I believe that Corona is the variety grown in Italy, and Elefantes in Greece. The Arosis beans are very good, creamy and flavorful.

**Q: Can these beans be sprouted to grow plants?**
A: Yes. I’m in MidAtlantic area and used these to grow Gigante beans several years ago. I soaked for a few hours (4-6) then planted directly into my raised beds. Plants need a lot of staking as they are quite large. Easy to grow.

**Q: What is the weight in pounds and ounces?**
A: It says in product description...1 pound.  When you prepare them which includes soaking them in water for 10 hours they at least double in size and weight.
