Review: THe FINEST grinder that I have ever owned - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - This is, without any doubt or equivocation, the finest grinder that I have ever owned. It is certainly a tremendous value especially at the sale price at which I purchased the item. It is noisy! However, I would be noisy too if the first thing that I had to do each morning was to fill my mouth with coffee beans and then, with my teeth, grind up enough for a couple of pots of coffee. Trust me on this, I would be howling, and growling, and barking out a LITANY of profane epithets, unceasingly!! There are settings for volume of bean to be ground in order to meet the liquid demands, and enough settings to grind the beans precisely as I like them. This setting, obviously, will be determined by the coffee blend as well as the apparatus that is employed to tackle this task. Along with the preferential whims of the human behind the magic!! Quality coffee brewing is NOT a task for the faint at heart. Their very state of emotional and physical wellness may depend upon their level competence, passion, and level of expertise, that are mandated by the task of conjuring up that precious morning commodity :) The machine has a very large bay into which I poor the appropriate amount of product, being careful not to overfill beyond my immediate need. **Q: Why are the reviews for a burr grinder talking about a coffee maker with built in grinder?**
A: This is a classical example of Amazon's unreliable reviewing. The reviews are indiscriminately about two different products. One is 11.6 inches tall, the other is 13 inches tall. One (or both) is getting bad reviews for things like static discharge in the plastic grounds collector. I came here intending to buy a burr grinder and interested in buying a grinder/percolator. After wading through Amazon's useless reviews, I'm buying neither. Off to Target, where I can get comparable prices and reliable information.

**Q: Mine gets hot to the right of the button. Is it supposed to? I'm on my second one with the same issue.**
A: My product does the same. Not pushing in the collection bin all the way does eliminate the issue. Amazing how after 6 years this is not fixed...

**Q: Is there a way to get a real expresso grind? even at the “finest “ setting is still coarse**
A: No.  I returned the Krupa and  replaced it with the Shardor, which produces a more acceptable espresso grind.  You should know that both grinders produce a small amounts of a fine powder in addition to the expected grind.  This may be a characteristic of flat burr grinders.

This is, without any doubt or equivocation, the finest grinder that I have ever owned. It is certainly a tremendous value especially at the sale price at which I purchased the item. It is noisy! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Grinds well but messy

This burr grinder does a great job of gridding coffee to a consistent coarseness. Adjustment is easy and seems accurate. Noise is typical for this type of device, average level. There is one drawback - it is a bit messy. The grind bin is plastic and no matter what we try, has static cling, grounds adhering to the bin and lid. This means you are likely to spill a small quantity of grounds when removing the bin, it's lid, or emptying grounds into your coffee maker. Also the port through which the grounds enter the bin is flush, no lip into the bin, so small amounts of grounds accumulate on the base of the machine. Our prior grinder had a stainless bin which was less prone to coffee cling, easier to clean. Overall still satisfied however.
