Makes amazing rainbow cakes, if you have thin tins. Fun to match the icing to the colour of the inner as you go. Used for a raspberry vanilla layer cake recently with layers of cream and pink. Used raspberry essence and it was amazing! **Q: Whenever I use this it never goes a dark colour? Why?** A: I have used their Aztec blue for my macarons and the colour was pretty dark. Although, the colour faded a little after cooking. Easy to use, nice texture which can be applied with tip of cocktail stick or skewer. Please remember when mixing colours/icing/frosting to do enough for the whole project as like paint it is virtually impossible to get same colour in two different batches. Also that colour will be slightly different when dried. Lent these to my sister for her to use with granddaughter and she was so impressed bought a set of her own. Not expensive when consider how many colours and how large the pots are compared with liquid colours available in supermarket which don't give true colours.
