Great bit of kit
Awesome tool to have. Way better than the chinsy stick on magnet electrode. Feels high quality i pretty much use this for all of my welding at this point.

Quality tool.
Works better than a clamp type ground connection.

Great Magnetic Ground Clamp!
Was using a Hobart magnetic ground clamp before ordering this one. This Magnetic ground is of amazing quality has a super strong magnet and has a side cutout to easily attach to pipe or square tubing. What I like is the fin design that allows it to dissipate heat so it doesn't get too hot and lose its magnetism. You can also easily just turn the knob to turn off the magnet allowing you to easily remove the ground and easily clean any metal that is attached to the magnet. Overall this Magnetic ground is heavy and looks to be very well built I will order some more for my plasma and other machines. Highly Recommend this product!

Good but not great
Works as required most of the time but any off side pulling from welding lead causes magnet to come loose and arc on material

Perfect
Perfect edition to my new TIG. Not always somewhere to clamp the factory “ground”. This on-off magnet makes connecting the circuit easy!

Magswitch 300 Amp Magnetic Welding Clamp – Solid and Reliable ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Strong Hold – Sticks firm with no slipping, even on odd angles. Quick Setup – No messing with traditional clamps, just drop it on and get to work. Durable Build – Tough enough for daily shop use, built to last. If you want a clamp that actually does its job without a hassle, this is the one to get.

It has its place. but
This item will be useful for some things, but it's not very strong and just the weight of the ground wire tends to want to pull it off if it's not perfectly seated on something. I would think the magnet should be a lot stronger. especially for the money. I am considering returning it.

Best magnetic clamp out there!
The mag switch has been an absolute amazing addition to my fabricating arsenal no more Dicking around with finding a place to clamp, simply place it where I need it and switch it on and it holds tight. Highly recommend it!

Satisfait

far better than the traditional welding
Absolute must for any welder, far better than the traditional welding clamp
