The Pro Stitch Sewing Machine Table with Storage is part of the Sew Ready Collection and features a 56. 75-inch wide tabletop that allows you to cut or arrange fabric and patterns. The 9. 5-inch-wide drop leaf top folds if less space is needed when not in use. Our upgraded metal mesh drawers are durable and allow you to see your tools and supplies inside them. A lower shelf below the tabletop and below the drawers can accommodate your larger items. Our sewing machine platform allows you to select the perfect height for your sewing machine base to be flush with the table top. This will keep your fabric flowing seamlessly while sewing. This platform can be adjusted to the top position to be flush with the top. The heavy gauge steel construction and thick top make it a durable table for years of use. A 2-inch wide cord management hole keeps your cables organized. If your craft room is also your office, this table can also be used as a computer desk.

This table is excellent. I was worried about my 25 pound sewing machine sitting on the shelf but it is fine. Invest in an allen wrench tip for your drill or electric screwdriver and you can assemble it in about thirty minutes. I am 68 and had no trouble with assembly or the instructions. Reviews that say it folds are NOT for this table. It is roomy and stable with large easy pull drawers. I would recommend it.

**Q: Does the drop down platform also adjust upward so it's flush with the table?**
A: No where is it written, HOW to keep the platform flush with rest of table, just that it can be made to do so.  It would be oh so helpful to knowhow to do that! I bought the table to be beside me while I'm sewing to cut and iron, so I want the platform to be flush at all times! Thank you for answering me, I hope.

**Q: How sturdy is this table?  If your jamming that machine pretty fast is it jumping all over the place or pretty stable?**
A: Mine is stable. I have an industrial, heavy machine. I’m very happy with this table

**Q: How heavy a sewing machine can the drop-down part of the table support?**
A: I am not sure if it would hold an extremely heavy machine but it is very securely attached and is very sturdy. The assembly was easy and it does not shake or move when I sew. I bought this mold to hold my new Brother 6000 with the expanded sewing table attachment and it fits. I really like this table and would recommend it.

**Q: Can I easily fold table to store under bed or in closet when not in use?**
A: No, once assembled there's no way to fold the table to store it under a bed. The only way to get the table to fit under a bed is to totally disassemble it, which is a lot of effort for storage.

Like the sturdiness of the table, holds my sewing machine well. My machine is a little higher than the table, but I don't think it will be a problem when sewing a large piece of fabric. I did find the mesh drawers to be uneven on the bottom. Not flat like a regular drawer. Was disappointed in that.
