desertcart.com: SUNER POWE Adjustable 20W 30W Solar Panel Mount Racks - Folding Mounting Tilt Brackets for Wall, Roof, RV and Off Grid Solar System : Patio, Lawn & Garden

Review: Easy to install and adjust - This is a sturdy solar panel that is designed well. It was easy to install as it's plug n play. The size is perfect for my needs which is a water pump. Overall it has functioned well and I dont see anything wrong at all. It has a strong power output and I am pleased.
Review: This is a rock solid trickle charge solar panel mount. - My original trickle charge panel came with a very flimsy mount that didn't look like it would hold up to the snow in our area so I ordered the Suner Solar Panel Mount Racks. I had to drill some holes in the frame of the solar panel (easy) and In my case needed to cut the ends of the mount to fit the board it was mounted to (also easy). The wing nuts make it easy for seasonal adjustment for sun angle. This mount is strong and should stand up to snow with no problem, definitely worth the money.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Use on the ground?**
A: I have a sporting clay range and most of my solar panels are mounted on the adjustable hardware and sit on the ground and I have no problem with the hardware or panels.

**Q: Does it flex at highway speeds?**
A: I bought this for a stationary application and do not expect to drive it at highway speeds however the metal brackets measure .065 thickness and 1/4" hardware is not going to shear at 65-70mph.

**Q: WIll the larger rack support a monocrystalline cell measuring 26.38 inches x 58.27 inches x 1.38 inches?**
A: There was a photo on the Amazon sales page for this item and it showed the larger rack support holding a 100 watt panel. The photo did not say it was a 100 watt panel but I work with them a lot in the ham radio community so was able to easily spot it as being a 100 watt panel - you should be good to go. Most everybody has to drill at least 4 mounting holes to secure it to the support arms. Use a center punch, drill a small pilot hole then a bigger hole to match your machine screw size. My guess is #12 should be about right - I have the smaller size unit and #10s were what I used on that unit. My set up has a Genasun IP67 rated controller on the back side of the panel - makes a great neat/compact arrangement (I installed it there). The Genasuns' are pricey but they are water proof, compact and work very good - also sold on Amazon.

**Q: Can you use of van roof?**
A: Yes, I think it would work fine for that.

Wish this came with a bracket to hang it. Shouldn't have to pay almost as much for a bracket as paid for panel. Has worked great so far
