## Description

TotalBoat inflatable boat bottom paint provides excellent protection on the Hypalon, PVC, and rubber materials found on inflatable boats. The paint flexes and moves with the material without cracking or lifting, even when the boat is rolled up. 25.5% Copper biocide handle low-to-moderate fouling conditions, providing effectiving antifouling protection from barnacles, slime, weeds, algae, zebra mussels, and other growth. Ablative formula gradually releases fresh biocide for reliable seasonal protection. Because the paint gradually wears away with use, there's less paint buildup to make prep and painting easier next season. This water-based marine paint has low VOCs and no solvents that create toxic fumes; clean up is a breeze using soap and water. To apply Inflatable Boat Paint, use chip or foam brushes, 3/16" nap rollers, or spray equipment on properly prepared surfaces. Do not use on aluminum or over thin film freshwater paints. No primer needed. Follow simple surface prep guidelines and apply in 50–90°F temperatures with <90% humidity. You only need 1-2 coats of this boat bottom paint to finish the job. Inflatable Boat Paint dries as quickly as 1.5 hours per coat. Thin up to 10% with water as needed. After applying the last coat, wait 6-16 hours, depending on temperature conditions. There's no maximum dry time before launch, so you can prep and paint on your schedule. Available in a neutral Gray in quart size, with a quart able to cover up to 2 coats on 8'-10' inflatable boats or 125 sq ft. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, protect from freezing. Please note that this product is intended for antifouling applications on boats, below the waterline only. It is not intended for household or marine topside use. I applied two coats, The dinghy went into the water in July 2018 and was taken out at the end of September. Then, after being out of the water for 3 days, on the deck of my sailboat, the paint on my inflatable dried, cracked, and peeled off making a huge mess on my deck. House paint from Home Depot would have been better! Don’t buy!!!

**Q: What preparation is needed before applying to the inflatable PVC hull**
A: Clean and dewax the hull, make sure it is free of dirt, oil, grease and debris.

**Q: Will this work on a polyester fabric skinned kayak?**
A: This will not work on this substrate, you will only need to use a bottom paint if you are leaving the Kayak in the water for several days in a row.

**Q: wanting to protect the bottom of the boat from sharp objects. Will this work for that purpose?**
A: No it will not protect from sharp objects.

**Q: will This work on plastic hulls**
A: If you mean GRP, it works fine on glass-reinforced plastic of a RIB, for example. I've used it successfully for about 5 years.

One of the best dinghy bottom paints on the market. The paint was easy to apply. I applied two coats, The dinghy went into the water in July 2018 and was taken out at the end of September.
