Never thought I'd really use it like we did, but they really do seal out the wet. And worked! I used primarily for phone protection while just being in and around the pool, so didn't spend long hours under water, but did swim with it, etc. it protected from moisture and even more so, sand. And greasy hands from suntain lotion, oils. No leaks at all. Was easy to scroll and use the keys through the clear cover. Also took a number of pictures while phone was inside of it. Didn't seem to affect clarity. Was interesting to see how many other people were using them, too. The neck strap also makes it easy to tether/tie the phone to your beachbag to keep track of it. Note, look at the material used for the neck strap....if silicone type strap, it will get caught in wet hair and skin. I preferred the satin fabric neck strap so it didn't get stuck to wet skin. I was pretty hesitant to really trust it to stay dry... but it worked just as expected. In the heat, the clear plastic did stick to the phone, but was easily peeled away when phone was removed. And price made it easy to even pack an extra just in case but didn't need a spare. All around, was happy with it and will continue to use. Have made a total of three purchases of these so trying to put useful reviews on each. Review: Super convinient - LOVED IT. Kept my personal affects nice and dry. Easy to close and open at all times. Very durable and reliable underwater. 10/10 ## Features - 2 Pack Universal size waterproof case dry bag, fits all smartphones up to 7 inches tall and 4 inches wide such as iPhone 17/17 Air 16 15 14 13 12 Pro Max Xs Max XR X 8 7 6S Plus SE/Galaxy S24 S23 S22 S21(Certain big screen phones need to remove protective case); Also can be protection for your ID, cash, credit cards, passport, key - Certified IPX8 waterproof level, specially designed for pools, ship, fishing, swimming, sailing, skiing, boating, kayaking, snorkeling, tubing, rafting, shower, sauna and other water park activities - Super clear material ensures high response touch and smooth operation, perfect for taking photos and videos, allowing you to record beautiful moment underwater and text messages without taking out your phone - Each comes with a durable lanyard for convenient carrying, so you can fully dive into your adventures. Inside black closure was wet after tissue test.** A: Yes, the black seal was wet inside as well after I did the tissue test. As long as the tissue was completely dry, then you're good. My tissue was completely dry the next morning after I left the tissue in the pouch submerged in water all night. Hope this helps. **Q: Has anyone had a problem with the lanyard breaking where it attaches to the case?** A: I didn't trust their thin line, I changed it out to another heavier clip and neck strap **Q: Does this fit the one plus 7 pro?** A: Yup... we have a XR plus. Works like a charm. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great idea, great product! *by S***E on May 10, 2026* Used on recent trip so ordered additional to have available the family. Easy to close and open at all times. Very durable and reliable underwater. 10/10 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Who doesn’t use a phone case? *by F***. on February 21, 2021* These are very good for water protection and in that regard, I am very pleased. There are two things that could be better, one that will apply to everyone and one that could be an issue, but not for all. First off, water tight. Took mine on vacation and used in the ocean and to swim Cenotes. Was in and under water for hours and had no water issues. Worked well and gave me confidence my phone was protected. A+ Ease of use. Probably great. For me, not as much. The description lists all of the phones that fit and my iPhone 11 is on that list. I use an Otter Defender like 95% of the population. It does not fit with a case. It would with a very thin skin case, but not a real drop rated case. So, had to remove my phone from the case each time I used it. That was a pain as it is no simple task to take in and out of an Otter Defender. Smaller phones would work without going through this. “B” Another problem is selfies. Vacation selfies are important, right? If you use the camera facing you and it is low light where the flash activates, the clear plastic on this unit floods with light, washing out half of the picture. Never could get selfies to work if the flash activated. “C-“ Overall image quality. This is a tough one. The thing works and, overall, I’m happy with it. Just remember you are shooting through a relatively poor “lens”. That flexible plastic cover is now a part of your lens and it’s not awesome, creating a significantly softer image than you get otherwise. I’ve read plenty of other reviews raving about the great picture quality. Do understand it’s not a deal breaker. I take the images and blow them up and they just don’t hold up. They are great to document a fun time. But when you’re not in the water, take your phone out of the bag if you are wanting better pictures. It does very slightly distort and substantially soften the images. May not sound like it, but overall I do like this protector, will continue using it and do recommend it. Just know the limitations and work around them. For the casual and occasional user, it is an inexpensive and effective way to protect your phone. ## Frequently Bought Together - JOTO 2 Pack Waterproof Phone Pouch Case Up to 7", IPX8 Underwater Phone Case Cellphone Dry Bag for iPhone 16 15 14 13 12 Pro Max Xs Max XR X 8 7 6S Plus SE/Galaxy S24 S23 S22 S21 -Clear - Dramamine All Day Less Drowsy, Motion Sickness Relief, 8 Count - Neosmuk Magnetic Hooks,30lb+ Heavy Duty Earth Magnets with Hook for Refrigerator, Extra Strong Cruise Hook for Hanging, Magnetic Hanger for Cabins, Grill (Silver White, Pack of 10) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/147581365-2-pack-waterproof-phone-pouch-case-up-to-7-ipx8](https://www.desertcart.no/products/147581365-2-pack-waterproof-phone-pouch-case-up-to-7-ipx8) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
