It is a genuine PS2 controller. I think they are refurbished. The one I bought, the start button and triangle buttons don't work. My husband said it felt better than his brand new one from when he was 11. ### ⭐ It's beat up *by A***. on December 2, 2024* Overall value is terrible. I paid nearly $30 for this thing and although it came neatly wrapped, the controller itself is beat up, dirty, it's disgusting actually. The start button has to be pressed with extra pressure to work. The analog sticks feel like there's debris inside of them. It's not a smooth rotation. The connector pins are a little rusty. The controller is tacky feeling like pancake syrup is on it... with a bit of alcohol and elbow grease . I WAS able to get it to work. At first, it wasn't recognized by the Playstation. For what they're charging for it, they could have sent me something in better condition. This is terrible.
