## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this  unit be hard-plumbed or  does it have to connect to faucet?**
A: I am thinking the same thing as my unicouple is farshimmelt and leaks badly. It would mean drilling a hole through my kitchen counter. I would hard plumb the hot water input and let the hose drain into the sink.A downside is that the input line would always be under line pressure and the flexible hose might not take that kind of pressure 24/7? God help if it blows when nobody is home $$$$$$$$$.

**Q: It says it ships usually ships in 1-4 months. Is that correct?**
A: These items are in great demand and suppliers usually have them backordered from manufacturer which is the reason for that window.  Earliest can be much less than a month, and current estimate is two weeks.  If order is made and the order will take more than month, then within a couple of days a purchaser will be notified and given the option to cancel.

**Q: What size dinner plates does it hold? Mine are almost 10 5/8"**
A: Got this for my daughter last Xmas so called her to measure. Her plates are 10 1/2" and she said there is about 1/4" left to top.Will be close with your plates.

**Q: Do this plug into a regular outlet and does it fool up to the sink?**
A: Yes about regular outlet.  For the sink, they have an adapter you screw into the faucet after you unscrew the screen fitting.  It grinds up the food waste so it won't clog up the sink at all.  You plug the hose onto the adapter and turn on hot water & then set it to wash.  When you disconnect the hose, don't forget to turn off the water and push the red vent button otherwise you get spritzed.  I'm an expert on that one.
