Every drive arrived in great ship. Review: Perfect for storing and shipping hard drives - I recently purchased these as I am selling a bunch of old hard drives I had lying around. These cases worked out perfectly for shipping them out. There is a little wiggle room for the 3.5 inch drives but not much. Like that there is some gap for cushioning and fact that it protects against static discharge. They were a bit pricey than I expected though for a piece of plastic and for a 10-pack. ## Features - Made with high-grade ESD plastic for anti-static protection. - For bare 2.5" internal hard drives or drives with anti-static bags. - Internal Dimensions: 6" x 4" x 1" | External Dimensions: 7.25" x 5.25" x 1.5" - Clamshells are stackable when in use. - Includes 10 ESD clamshells for 3.5" internal hard drives. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07RTFXQ8K | | Additional Features | anti-static protection | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #323 in Computer Hard Drive Bags & Cases | | Brand | SiForce | | Compatible Device Size Maximum | 6 inches | | Compatible Devices | Internal Hard Drives | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 94 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Plastic | | Form Factor | Case | | Item Dimensions | 7.25 x 5.25 x 1.5 inches | | Manufacturer | Silicon Forensics | | Material | Plastic | | Max. compatible device size | 6 inches | | Mfr Part Number | 006615 | | Model Number | 006615 | | Pattern | Solid | | Shell Type | Hard | | UPC | 682858561126 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SiForce - **Compatible Devices:** Internal Hard Drives - **Form Factor:** Case - **Material:** Plastic - **Shell Type:** Hard ## Images ![Plastic ESD Clamshell Case for 3.5" Internal Hard Drives (3.5" 10 Pack) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51XsxINSfVL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will this fit 15 mm thick 2.5" drives?** A: The 3.5inch clamshell will be too big for 2.5in, 15mm drives. You may need to use anti-static bags or foam as cushion. **Q: Will the 2.5" clam shell fit 7, 9, and 15 mm thick 2.5" drives without bouncing about?** A: Just the 7mm and 9mm. The 15mm drive is too thick for the 2.5inch clamshell. **Q: Are these stackable?** A: Yes they can be stacked. Just verified with mine. Hope this helps! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked great, kept drives safe. *by M***T on May 10, 2026* Worked excellent to ship out hard drives. Every drive arrived in great ship. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for storing and shipping hard drives *by I***N on July 23, 2023* I recently purchased these as I am selling a bunch of old hard drives I had lying around. These cases worked out perfectly for shipping them out. There is a little wiggle room for the 3.5 inch drives but not much. Like that there is some gap for cushioning and fact that it protects against static discharge. They were a bit pricey than I expected though for a piece of plastic and for a 10-pack. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works reasonably well, seem a bit expensive *by O***K on August 5, 2022* Very useful for storing individual SSD/HDD disks in a way where both sides can be seen without requiring the disk to be removed from the case. In a couple of cases it was quite difficult to "snap" the case closed, but hopefully that means the case will not open accidentally! The price seems a bit high for these thin plastic cases... ## Frequently Bought Together - Plastic ESD Clamshell Case for 3.5" Internal Hard Drives (3.5" 10 Pack) - YiwerDer 50Pcs Antistatic Resealable Bag 15X20cm/5.9X7.9inch, Premium Anti Static Bag for SSD HDD and Other Electronic Devices - ORICO External Hard Drive Case for 3.5 Inch HDD/SSD 5 Packs Portable Hard Drive Carrying Protective Storage Box Anti-Static and Shockproof -PHX5S --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/146748386-plastic-esd-clamshell-case-for-3-5-internal-hard-drives](https://www.desertcart.no/products/146748386-plastic-esd-clamshell-case-for-3-5-internal-hard-drives) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
