INSTALL & TRANSPORT TIPS Swapping out the pads is blissfully simple - just wrap them around the driver case and let the integrated pins do their job. The Yaxi pads wrap around the divers a bit more aiding in a secure fit (photo comparison provided) Be carefule not to break the pins when removing old pads. And speaking of the stock pads, those slippery fellas have a tendency to go AWOL, especially when putting the headphones on or tossing them in your bag. These Yaxi replacements, on the other hand, stay firmly in place no matter what you put them through. REAL-WORLD RUNNER REVIEW As a daily runner relying on my trusty Porta Pros, the stock pads just couldn't keep up. These Yaxi replacements, on the other hand, stay firmly in place no matter how hard I push it. And the more breathable foam design means my ears don't end up as uncomfortably swampy and sad. TECH TALK (AUDIOPHILE OPTIONAL) The thicker Yaxi pads are said to gently open up the high-end response, creating a slightly airier, more spacious soundstage. Theoretically, this could be due to the proximity effect - the stock pads sit closer to your ears, emphasizing the low-end. But the extra foam also probably tames those highs a touch, keeping things nicely balanced. Not a night-and-day difference, but a welcome refinement for discerning listeners (or dog owners with exceptionally sensitive hearing). MIX-AND-MATCH MADNESS Yaxi offers 8 individual colors, allowing you to create over 25 unique 2-pair combo looks. Want to channel your inner Christmas elf? They've got festive red and green options. Hoping to match your lovingly curated sneaker collection? There are plenty of non-holiday hues to choose from. Just be prepared for seasonal costume commentary if you go the holly-jolly route. FINAL VERDICT If the stock Porta Pro pads keep letting you down (like a lukewarm football team), or you're simply looking to level up your listening experience, these Yaxi replacements are a worthy investment. They stay securely in place, breathe better than the originals, and may even give your tunes a subtle sonic upgrade. And with all those color options, you can customize your look to match your mood (or the calendar). Your ears - and your overall swagger - will thank you. Just don't be surprised if people start calling you "Rudolph" around the holidays. Review: A significant upgrade from the default pads - I only bought these because the original pads were starting to fall off, but they turned out to be a massive upgrade! They are way thicker and more comfortable, and they make the headphones look more luxe somehow. Very easy to put on and they stay on. Also improves the sound quality. For the price you can't go wrong. I'd recommend getting them even if your factory pads are fine. ## Features - Are you looking to give your Porta Pro a new lease of life? Just try these on! Their larger dimensions spread clamp force more evenly over the outer ear and they are substantially more padded than the stock foams; They effectively reduce veil in addition to increasing transparency and detail presence;Plus, with a number of colors to choose from, you can customize the look of your own Porta Pro as well as the feel - More details: www;yaxi;jp/product-gallery/porta-pro - You will get a Porta Pro poster as gift - Product Page: https://www;yaxi;jp/product-gallery/porta-pro/ ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01MQVHX84 | | Best Sellers Rank | #4,314 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #95 in Headphone Earpads | | Brand | YAXI | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Headphones | | Compatible Headphone Models | Koss KSC75, Koss Porta Pro | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 3,806 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Memory Foam | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04580454120456 | | Item Weight | 0.01 kg | | Manufacturer | YAXI | | Material | Memory Foam | | Mfr Part Number | PP-BK | | Model Number | PP-BK | | Number of Items | 1 | | Warranty Description | no | ## Product Details - **Brand:** YAXI - **Color:** Black - **Compatible Devices:** Headphones - **Material:** Memory Foam - **Number of Items:** 1 ## Images ![EARPADS for Koss PORTAPRO (Black) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71t-LjQkWWL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Use with the KFC35?** A: There are YouTube videos on that. One video noted the potentiality of damaging the wiring in getting the originals off. **Q: How’s the sound quality?** A: The sound quality is excellent. it's a little different though, so you will have to get used to it. These headphones KSC75s/Portapros are the very best deal in audio. I've been an audiophile for 40 years and spent tens of thousands on equipment. I got the KSC75s for 13 dollars and bought the Parts Express cheepo's (7.00) for the head band, which snaps right on. I have a pair of Vmoda Crossfire 100s that sold for 250.00 that sound better but not 10 times better. **Q: I have the koss sporta pro, not the porta pro. will these ear pads fit the sporta pro?** A: Yes, they fit the sporta pro. **Q: Do the Poster or stickers come with the single order pads?** A: No, not come with the single order pads for prime delivery. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Porta Pro Pads: The Coziest Upgrade for Your Ears (and Your Seasonal Wardrobe) *by J***N on November 15, 2024* QUICK STATS - Price: $15 for 2 pairs (a bargain compared to most "audiophile" upgrades) - Material: Open-cell poly foam - Thickness: About 0.5 inch (nice and plush) - Diameter: 2 3/8 inch (locks onto your head like a lovesick koala) - Colors: 8 options, 25+ 2-pair combos (Christmas, Halloween, Tuesday - you name it) THE SWEET SOUND NOTES ✓ Reportedly opens up the high-end response (finally hear the dog whistles!) ✓ Maintains the open, airy Porta Pro sound signature ✓ Comfortable enough for even the longest listening sessions (no "clamped vice grip" headaches here) THE (MINOR) DISCORDANT NOTE - More expensive than stock pads (your ears have champagne taste, what can we say?) They are way thicker and more comfortable, and they make the headphones look more luxe somehow. Very easy to put on and they stay on. Also improves the sound quality. For the price you can't go wrong. Installed onto my Koss KSC75s and find these to provide a noticable upgrade in comfort and small improvement to sound quality. These tame the treble and make the headphones more neutral. On the other hand, I do feel the $12 asking price is a bit steep for the two small pieces of foam these are, especially since the KSC75s these are installed on were only $17 to begin with. I won't deduct a star however because $12 is still cheap in the grand scheme of things. Pros: Thicker and Plusher than OEM Comfortable Improved Sound Quality Colorful Oversized and easy to install Cons: A bit expensive for what you get ## Frequently Bought Together - YAXI EARPADS for Koss PORTAPRO (Black) - Koss KSC75 Portable On-Ear Clip Headphones, Retro Style, Ultra Lightweight, Silver and Black - Parts Express Mini Stereo Lightweight Headphones with 4 Foot Cord --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/144766221-earpads-for-koss-portapro-black](https://www.desertcart.no/products/144766221-earpads-for-koss-portapro-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
