Doesn't $39.99 for a 30 ct violate amazon's fair pricing policy?

400% markup sounds like it. I used to buy some flavors for $8.89 / 30ct in fall-winter 2019 you should "REPORT INCORRECT PRODUCT INFORMATION" through the link in the main part of the listing, or call customer service.

Strength if zinc and vit d

Zinc (as Zinc ascorbate) is 10mg for 91% of daily value. Vitamin D3 is 25 mcg (1,000 IU) for 125% of daily value.

Yes, I believe it is. My husband and I drink a packet every other day. We started last year during COVID-19 to get the vitamin C and have continued to take it to this day.
