No such problem. **Q: Where are they Manufactured? Made?** A: I purchased these chairs by Bonnlo and the box says that they are made in China. The quality of these chairs are very good: thick plastic, smooth and shiny chrome finish, and feet protectors that do not scratch floors, but instead they glide across them. **Q: Can they be used as patio chairs?** A: I don’t know if they can be used outside I use mine around my dining table . The silver might rust if in the elements but I don’t know for sure .
