My brother made me some stencils that are only 5" X 5" - too small to stay in place. I took some cardstock and cut a 5.5" x 5.5" frame with an opening just a bit smaller than my stencil. I use some easy to remove tape to hold the stencil on the frame and then put it on the Genie. **Q: What is the size?** A: It holds a 5.5 X 5.5 inch stencil. **Q: What is the size?** A: The Stencil Genie is roughly 5.5" square. Your stencil needs to be at least a bit more than 5" square for the magnets to hold it in place. There are two depths. The shallower depth is 1/4" deep; the deeper is 3/4" deep. Keep in mind that if you are icing your cookie, it will add to the height. I use the 3/4" depth for cookies cut at 1/4" thickness. **Q: What are the two thicknesses of cookie this works with?** A: I believe it’s 3/8” and 1/4”. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it says *by on Reviewed in Canada 14 December 2024* This does what it says but I wish it had a back on it so the cookie was held in snug ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Total Game Changer! *by on Reviewed in the United States 16 April 2025* I can’t believe I went so long decorating cookies without the Stencil Genie β€” it’s seriously a game changer if you work with royal icing and stencils. Before this, I was constantly fiddling with tape, magnets, or trying to hold the stencil steady with one hand while airbrushing or spreading icing with the other. With the Stencil Genie, everything just snaps perfectly into place. The magnets hold the stencil securely and evenly across the cookie, so I get crisp, clean designs every time. It’s incredibly easy to use β€” the two magnetic frames just sandwich your stencil, and the whole thing stays put. I love that it works well with most standard stencils and cookie sizes, and the low-profile design makes it comfortable to work with, even for longer decorating sessions.Cleanup is also a breeze β€” just a quick wipe-down and it’s ready for the next round. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very, Very happy with my 51/2 inch square stencil Genie. *by on Reviewed in the United States 14 November 2025* Do you want to bring your cookie decorating up a level or two. The stencil Genie will get you there. Works well with 51/2 in ch stencils. Easy to use and sturdy. ## Frequently Bought Together - Stencil Genie Magnetic Stencil Frame - The Original Cookie Countess Magic Stencil Screen Airbrushing Tool Food-Safe Stainless Steel Airbrush Screenβ„’ (1) - Stencil Genie 16 Pcs 5.5x5.5in Baking Stencils for Royal Icing, Airbrush, Sugar & Craft Painting --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/142028880-stencil-genie-magnetic-stencil-frame](https://www.desertcart.no/products/142028880-stencil-genie-magnetic-stencil-frame) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
