Question 1

can this be just for air instead of buying cans of air to like blow dust out of a computer?

Accepted Answer

A place I work bought a set that refilled through the bottom... you got a 5-6 second burst from them and that was it, they were spent. So unlike CO2 dusters that have compressed liquid inside them that converts to gas with release the refillables are pure human breathable air, so very weak compression in this. Now... if you wanna haul a Scuba tank around.. thats a different story! You can go quite far with that! CO2's don't use chemicals to create pressure. its a natural function of compressed liquid to gaseous state change.

Question 2

what's the psi on this?

Accepted Answer

You fill it with your own air from a compressor so the psi is whatever you set it to. I set mine to 125 lbs/in. I don't use it much because it runs out of air very fast and filling it takes more time than it is worth. I just by the arisol cans for a few bucks and they last at least 12 times as much as this when it's filled.

Question 3

Is there anyway to increase the pressure above the preset 90psi?

Accepted Answer

Not with the current configuration. There is a safety relief valve that 'vents' when the pressure gets above 90psi. If you were to defeat the safety relief valve, buy removing it and replacing the inlet valve without the presure relief, you could go above 90psi. But, at that point, you have just voided the safety design of the container. Higher pressures will eventually cause the container to yield (fail) and now you have a life-threatening situation - think shrapnel tearing through your body parts. If you want something with higher pressure capability, look for another container that is designed, tested, and has the proper safety feature. Otherwise, you, or someone else may become a Darwin Award nominee.

Question 4

Why not to fill it with acetone.gasoline?

Accepted Answer

Compressing then could cause autoignition under pressure.
