StarCraft: Ghost--Spectres
Product ID: 1415541
Dominion ghosts epitomize the height of terran evolution and physical conditioning. Augmented by technologies that harness their innate psionic potential, these lethal operatives use telepathy and other superhuman powers to isolate and destroy the enemies of the Dominion. But when the hunters become the hunted and ghosts start disappearing without a trace, even the most dangerous human soldiers in the Koprulu sector have something to fear... Enter Nova Terra, a ghost of unparalleled ability. On orders fromEmperor Arcturus Mengsk, Nova embarks on a secret mission to find her missing comrades. As her investigation leads down a maze of dark corridors, painful memories of her pre-ghost years begin to surface. Soon, Nova learns that there might be a connection between the missing agents and her past, a discovery that will pit her against both the shadows ofher youth and a terrifying new breed of psionic warrior: spectres. This is the story that StarCraft fans have been waiting for—a pulse-pounding adventure based on the never-released StarCraft: Ghost tactical-action console game. StarCraft: Ghost—Spectres unveils a tumultuous chapter in Nova’s life and the insidious origins of the spectres featured in StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty , the record-breaking sequel to Blizzard Entertainment’s highly praised real-time strategy games StarCraft and StarCraft: Brood War . Review: Very good product condition - First of all I'm a big fan of SC and since I was a little kid I always dreamed to have the books and read them, eventhough I didn't understand a single word in English.. as for the product, I'm very happy that is in perfect condition. Made it to Perú just fine. Review: Starcraft Ghost: SPECTRES - STARCRAFT GHOST: Spectres This book is a continuation of the Starcraft Lore as it comes from Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty. This revolves aroudn the Ghost program, Mengsk, Kerrigan, and Nova. A Fascinating book if you are intimate with the Lore of Starcraft. 7/10 I've read it twice.

Enjoyable if you like the Ghost and Nova storyline, or just Starcraft side stories.
Enjoyable continuation to the Nova storyline. This doesn't start immediately after Nova by Keith DeCandido, but the characters and backstory are the same, and it relies heavily on it for telling more about Nova and continuing her story. This goes into the story of the Spectres, missing Ghosts, the continued reign of Mengsk, and background on some of the Ghost training program. It is told from the point of view of several characters in mostly a chronologic timeline. There is some "and then they remembered..." flashbacks for backstory and expanding on the memory wipe aspects of the Ghost program.

Good book in the series
I bought this book because I already own all other books from the Starcraft Universe. My bad was that I thought it was in German but instead I ordered the english one. So as a German speaking guy I have to say that it is written very good. Easy to understand and you are able to connect to the previous books. The book is again about the live of Nova Terra, a Ghost Agent. This time she has to catch the so-called Spectres throughout different missions. The story is very nice and you never get bored during reading. For me it was not a problem of having the english version so I can recommend this book to all Starcraft lovers. But you should have read the first book of Starcraft Ghost: Nova before to understand some parts in the book.
