Review: THE fix for Samsung freezing anomaly - UPDATE August 2019- 1.5 years after install, our fridge hasn’t had gone defrosted one time. We’re thrilled. BTW: Our fridge is model RF263TEABC MARCH 2018- Y'all this FIXED OUR EFFING REFRIGERATOR after 5 years of freezing/drain tube backing up/water under the drink tray/fan encapsulated in ice making the refrigerator stop working. We have had at least 5 different people from 5 different companies (including fancy Samsung reps) try to fix this fridge to no avail. And searching desertcart is what caused us to find the part to fix it for good. Not sure if this sensor is the problem? Empty your fridge, take the back panel off, turn your fridge to Forced Defrost (lots of directions online) and see if that coil heats up to 1000 degrees. If it doesn't, buy this part. You can thank me later.
Review: This Five Dollar part saved my $2000.00 Samsung refrigerator - I love my Samsung phone. However, my Samsung refrigerator is another thing. Mine is only a year and a few months old, but it has had numerous odd failures. Most recent failure was this temperature sensor failure. And if not for YouTube.com and a few kind folks with sufficient knowledge of how to replace things like this, I would be without a near $2000 refrigerator. Not sure of the exact amount I paid, but the point is that the Samsung refrigerator ought not have failed - to FREEZE, after only a year and a few months' worth of use. Ridiculous. Nevertheless, this Five Dollar part fixed my refrigerator problem -- which was it freezing-up then blocking the refrigerator-side's fan (which pulls cold air from the freezer side), in an area near the bottom-aft of the refrigerator -- which requires manual defrosting when the temperature sensor fails. There is no good reason why something this trivial should happen after 14 months of use (outside warrant, of course). My last Samsung appliance. But I love my Samsung Note II cell phone.

UPDATE August 2019- 1.5 years after install, our fridge hasn’t had gone defrosted one time. We’re thrilled. I love my Samsung phone. However, my Samsung refrigerator is another thing. Mine is only a year and a few months old, but it has had numerous odd failures.
