I've a camera and a headset attached to itand there is no loss of connectivity or any lag during video or conference calls. Perfect! Review: inspiron 7591, dual monitors - I use this dock to connect 2 monitors to my dell inspiron 7591, and it works fine. The HDMI port on the laptop come from CPU (intel UHD 630), which means the total number of monitor I can display is limited by the intel GPU (3 maximum). I can connect 3 seperate monitors but can only work with 3. BTW, my usb keyboard and mouse occasionally behave strangely when connecting with this dock. ## Features - When using windows please ensure that the device are equipped with Thunderbolt 3 technology for the Thunderbolt 3 Dock Mini to function correctly - The Belkin Difference: Pioneer in technology and innovation for over 35 years - Compatibile with MacBook Pro 13" M1 (2020), MacBook Air 13" M1 (2020) and Mac mini M1 (2020) - Compatible with macOS and Windows USB-C devices. This product supports 2 extended displays from a MacBook. I had this setup. Note of caution: Two external displays (basic Dells, not even 4K) and a 1TB external drive caused performance speed and significant battery drain. With all three plugged in, it could take 10-30 minutes for my MacBook (purchased new in 2020) to boot up. At one point, with 2 monitors and a USB drive, my MacBook would not boot up at all! Apple Support confirmed the hub and peripherals drained so much power, the MacBook could not boot up with everything plugged in. **Q: Can I connect 2 laptops, one connected to the monitor and usb keybord+mouse combo and the additional laptop just to power up from here?** A: Hi. No, that configuration is not supported by the dock. **Q: does this work on desktop that has usb-c input?** A: I bought this to connect my laptop to some monitors. My laptop only has USB-C input. It worked with that so I assume it would work with a desktop as well. **Q: Has anyone tried to connect 2 monitors to a mac over hdmi at 24 hz? any luck?** A: Hi, D. Baldwin. The Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Dock Mini HD, F4U098 is a docking solution that connects to your computer via a single tethered cable. It has dual HDMI 4K ports at 60 Hz that allows you to connect two 4K monitors to your laptop, to experience fast, high definition visuals across multiple screens. This dock has a 40 Gbps data transfer rate that is eight times faster than USB 3.0. Not so good with Windows. With Windows I still had to use the built in HDMI port to connect one external monitor and then this device to connect the second whereas on my MacBook Pro I simply plug it in and both external monitors work as expected to give a three screen setup. ## Frequently Bought Together - Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Dock Mini HD With Cable - Usb C Hub - Usb C Docking Station For Macos & Windows, Dual 4K @60hz, 40Gbps Transfer Speed, With Ethernet Port, BLACK - Sceptre 24-inch Professional Thin 1080p LED Monitor 99% sRGB 2x HDMI VGA Build-in Speakers, Machine Black (E248W-19203R Series) - Amazon Basics Wired Keyboard and Mouse Bundle, Full-Sized, QWERTY Layout, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/141481891-belkin-thunderbolt-3-dock-mini-with-tethered-thunderbolt-3-cable](https://www.desertcart.no/products/141481891-belkin-thunderbolt-3-dock-mini-with-tethered-thunderbolt-3-cable) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
