Hunter Three Light White Fitter for Ceiling Fan, White

Before I make a purchase like this, I do A LOT of research to make sure the product is exactly what I want. I got on the Hunter website, Youtube, and read all of the comments on here. It isn't hard to do that. Here's what I can tell you. I have two Hunter Original Fans on my porch. I purchased these light fixtures because they are white and match my fan's color, and because I couldn't find any globes that suited my taste. I didn't know if I would like the three light assembly or a globe. I didn't want my front porch to look cheap. So I was a bit skeptical about how these would look on a traditional, Southern front porch with fans, but after installing them I can honestly say I'm THRILLED WITH THEM. I have included a photo. I installed them myself in less than 15 minutes. Just remember to turn the light switch off. Seriously, you don't have to be a genius to put these up. There is one thing to keep in mind. After making sure that this assembly is the correct diameter for your fan (It fits most fans really), you will only have to obtain TWO longer screws if you have an Original, like mine. The two screws that come with the assembly are about 3/16 of an inch too short for a Hunter Original, and may be too short for your fan. But keep your panties on. Just put one screw in your pocket, and head off to your local, friendly, hardware store and spend a dollar and a quarter, or less, for two longer ones. It really isn't something anyone should bellyache about on here. Also, my home was built in 1930, so I got on "lamp glass dot nu" (one of my favorite sites) and purchased some white, Art Deco lamp shades and they look gorgeous, and fit the style of my home. I even added Lifx bulbs to change the ambience on my front porch into anything I want. It's awesome. These light assemblies are exactly what they say, quality built, and easy to install. Please do your homework before you make a silly remark about them. Hope this helps.

Fit pperfectly wiht my Hunter fan. Must be careful as the provided screws take a little patience to screw in. I agree with others that the vendor could have provided maybe an 1/8" longer screws, but they did fit with patience. Looks great, work great.

I have a 10 year old Hunter Channing ceiling fan (model 52071). The fan still works, but the lights stopped working. I didn't want to replace the entire fan since it matches the other fans in my house. I was nervous about ordering it because some of the reviews said that if your fan came with a light included (like mine), it wouldn't work. But it did! It worked perfectly and I had the lights switched out and working within 5 minutes! You just snap the two quick connect wires together and reinstall the two screws on the base. Easy peasy. Also, a lot of the reviews reported trouble with the screws being too short, but I compared them to the ones that held my original lights, and they're the exact same size. So they work on the Channing model, but just barely. You have to hold the light kit really flush against the base in order to get the threads to catch. But this kit does work, and it was an easy swap for the ones that come standard on the Channing model 52071 (found on the sticker on the top of your fan).

4 Star rating because of the screw issue described below. The unit is excellent build, matches perfectly and fits the old light mounting fixture. To install, the old fixture must be partially disassembled in order to attach the new fixture. As many, many other reviews have mentioned, THE SCREWS ARE TOO SHORT. NOT SURE WHY HUNTER CAN’T FIX THIS ISSUE BY SENDING LONGER SCREWS!!! Great replacement, but be prepared to get longer screws.

Hunter quality but the part did not fit.

I gave this 5 stars. The original Hunter light kit that came with the fan can be seen in the first photo - two candelabra bulbs that got very hot and didn't put out enough light for our 20x18 bedroom. The original lampshade was made of resin and blocked the light even more, very poor design by Hunter. The replacement was VERY easy to install. The pre-installed wire fittings matched perfectly to my Hunter fan. Some reviews mentioned short screws (that they were not long enough). I had no issues at all, they were perfect. Perhaps others didn't hold the light kit tight enough against the base during assembly. The new light gives off plenty of light, lights up the entire bedroom. It also comes with bulbs which is nice. I also purchased the recommended hunter glass shades that came up on amazon when I made this purchase. Looks Great - highly recommend! Hope this helps others.

I ordered this light once and in no way would it fit. No room for all the connectors. Subsequently I installed another Hunter Original fan which came with a light kit adapter. This adapter fit my older brown original perfectly, except for the white color. A phone call to Hunter and I had a brown adapter which housed all the connectors. The mount screws are too short. You will need two #6-32 x 1 inch from wherever to mount. Otherwise an easy installation. I used 8 watt daylight LEDs (no heat) and can now see in the sock drawer!

Over-priced considering there are no shades and the mounting screws are too short. In order to get the screws to start, you have to get it perfectly lined up then push up hard on the fan. There’s plenty of room in the fan housing for slightly longer screws which would have made this a 10 minute job instead of a 30 minute job. The mounting screws did at least include locking snap washers so the screws stayed in place while trying to mount the light (wish these same type of snap washers were included with the Hunter Sea Wind fan blades!). The box includes (3) LED bulbs although the description says fluorescent. We were going to buy our own LED bulbs so that was a nice surprise. For the price, shades should be included. I was going to rate this 4 stars because it looks nice and works well. When I realized these same comments have been stated since 2019 and things haven’t changed, I decided 3 stars was a generous rating.

Would have loved just one light

Its really to bad this was so expensive, however it was the only one that fit my fan. I love it a lot more than the light fixture that came with fan which only had room for 2 small candelabra bulbs and with the Tea Stained globe I might as well have not had a light. Huge upgrade.

Works well. Looks great in my sons room.

This worked with our existing Hunter "Watson" 34" fan. Increases the lumens using A15 or A19 bulbs. To upgrade the fan light is almost an extra $120 Canadian after you include the glass accessory shades which are extra. Overall, I am pleased we were able to change the light from the low lumens candelabra bulbs that were standards in the fan box.
