Review: Dramatic Wake Improvement - Finally got a calm day to try the Wake 10 on my 2001 Air Nautique. It doesn't make the wake bigger but it does a tremendous job improving the wake quality. I had 450 lbs in the rear tanks and 400 lbs in the mid boat ski locker running at 10.5 mph. With the shaper the face was clean, steeper, and longer. My interest is wakefoil surfing and this allows me to ride in a safer position further behind the boat on the first wake. The foil accelerates when you lose altitude and it is easy to get too close to the stern. With a 75 ft rope, I can easily surf the second wake. The suction cups have great hold and the leash is long enough to switch sides without detaching it. It floats but barely. It will begin slowly sinking right away. The lanyard failed on our and it is now at the bottom of the lake. **Q: My boat has a big sticker running down the side of it, what will the suction do to the sticker?** A: If your sticker is smooth (i.e. no rips in it) then it should suction just fine. However, if half of the suction cup is on the sticker, and the other half is on the hull then it will not suction properly. The suction cup should not do any damage to the sticker itself. **Q: Is it returnable if it doesn’t fit our boat?** A: The manufacturer has great customer service and will except the return within 30 days of purchase. Look at the diagram for proper fitment.
