**Q: Can you use screws on these wood putty and hold something heavy?**
A: I'm not really sure. The putty stays soft quite some time once applied. After it sets one should be able to use screws in the putty.

**Q: It seems that the maple color of this is too ‘red’ - could I use the pine to fill nail holes in maple veneered plywood? Would that match closer?**
A: I would use the lightest color putty and use a stain marker to get a closer match

**Q: Is pickled oak a gray color?**
A: kind of green ish grey I think it's been a long time since I've used the product. it's pickled oak ygat I usdd to fill a small crack in laminate floor.

**Q: Can I glue raw wood to the patched part. What kind of glue?**
A: Yes, but remember that the putty is not the only bonding surface, I would make sure there is sufficient wood surface around the putty for bonding to other wood. It does dry quite hard but may not adhere to your glue. Try a test run first.
