A rail journey in this low-lying country—where 20% of the land is below sea level—crosses countless bridges. Spend too much time admiring the beauty and you’ll spend your money in bridge tolls! This beautiful map includes an ingenious new twist. On the many dou- ble-track bridge crossings, grab the first route and pay a price in Bridge Toll Tokens to the bank; claim the second route and the tokens go to the player who claimed the first route! Score bonus points based on the total value of Bridge Toll Tokens you own at game’s end. From the Manufacturer Amsterdam's numerous canals make it the Venice of the North, but all of Nederland is filled with waterways. A rail journey in this low-lying country - where 20% of the land is below sea level - crosses countless bridges. Spend too much time admiring the beauty and you'll spend your money in bridge tolls! Ticket to Ride Nederland - is the fourth in the series of Ticket to Ride Map Collection expansions and is set in The Netherlands low-country with hundreds of canals and rivers and just as many bridges that cross them. In Ticket to Ride Nederland all routes have a cost, which players must pay for with Bridge Toll Tokens. When the first route of a Double-route is claimed, the corresponding value of Bridge Toll Tokens is paid directly to the bank; but when it is the second route, the value is paid to the player who claimed the first route instead. Players score bonus points based on the total value of Bridge Toll Tokens they still own at game's end. The number of Bonus points scored varies per the table below. In addition to the new map, Ticket to Ride Nederland includes 44 Destination Tickets, new Bridge Toll Tokens and multi-lingual rule book. Designed for 2 to 5 players, ages 8+, this expansion requires train cards and trains from either Ticket to Ride or Ticket to Ride Europe. ## Features - WATERWAY ADVENTURE: Embark on a scenic rail journey through Nederland, a country filled with picturesque canals and waterways. - BRIDGE TOLL STRATEGY: Navigate the ingenious new twist of double-track bridge crossings, where claiming routes comes with a price in Bridge Toll Tokens. - COMPETITIVE TOLL COLLECTION: Be strategic and collect Bridge Toll Tokens to score bonus points based on their total value at the end of the game. - LOW-LYING COUNTRY EXPLORATION: Discover the charm of a country where 20% of the land is below sea level and bridges play a crucial role. - BASE GAME REQUIRED: Please note that this is an expansion, and the Ticket to Ride base game is required to play. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00G3HT1TA | | Age Range Description | 8 years | | Best Sellers Rank | #222,113 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #5,146 in Board Games (Toys & Games) | | Brand Name | Days of Wonder | | CPSIA Cautionary Statement | Choking Hazard - Small Parts | | Color | Multi | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars (819) | | Edition | Family Edition | | Educational Objective | Develop strategic thinking, planning, and geographical awareness | | Estimated Playing Time | 30 minutes | | Expansion For | Ticket to Ride | | Game Mechanics | Route/Network Building, Set Collection | | Genre | Family, Strategy | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00824968817766 | | Included Components | Ticket to Ride: Nederland Map Collection Four | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Dimensions | 11.75 x 11.75 x 1.5 inches | | Item Type Name | Ticket to Ride: Nederland Map Collection Four | | Item Weight | 1.1 kg | | Language | English | | Manufacturer | Asmodee | | Manufacturer Part Number | DO7220 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | No Warranty | | Manufacturer recommended age | 8 years and up | | Minimum Age Recomendation | 96 | | Model Number | AVE14 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Players | 5 | | Operation Mode | manual | | Rulebook Availability | Printed Included | | Set Name | Map Collection 4 | | Size | Game Expansion | | Theme | Train | | UPC | 824968817766 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Images ![Ticket to Ride: Nederland - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/912byuH2HfL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Ticket to Ride Nederland Board Game EXPANSION - Train Route-Building Strategy Game, Fun Family Game for Kids & Adults, Ages 8+, 2-5 Players, 30-60 Minute Playtime, Made by Days of Wonder - Ticket to Ride United Kingdom + Pennsylvania Board Game EXPANSION - Strategy Game, Family Game for Kids & Adults, Ages 8+, 2-5 Players, 30-60 Minute Playtime, Made by Days of Wonder - Ticket to Ride Board Game - A Cross-Country Train Adventure for Friends and Family!
