My wife discovered Buster Keaton films and then turned me on to them as well. We consistently laugh out loud with complete delight, even on the films we've watched before. His work is a true cinematic treasure, and you won't be disappointed. (My only "complaint" for this set is that the included synopses of the films often spoil the best gags, which isn't a problem for the films I've seen already, but it's a warning I'd like to give to just hold off on reading those until after you've watched everything.)

This set is amazing beyond words. The quality is astonishing for both the physical product and the films themselves. My wife discovered Buster Keaton films and then turned me on to them as well. We consistently laugh out loud with complete delight, even on the films we've watched before. His work is a true cinematic treasure, and you won't be disappointed. I am a huge fan of Buster Keaton (I'll take him over Chaplin any day) and kept waiting for many months to find a discounted price on this pricey set. When one finally appeared I snapped on it and was very glad I did. There are hours upon hours of classic comedy from the master of dead pan. Kino did a fantastic job of taking ancient footage and making it look sharper than one could hope. This is one of those sets that can be viewed many times without getting old. You get your money's worth with this collection - especially if you can find it less than retail.
