It plugs directly into our Power Pack battery box or Battery Terminal Pig Tails. No cutting or splicing is required! EASILY STOWS AWAY The compact design of all Yak Power switchers makes them easy to stow away in small hatches. Mobile App Integrated Bluetooth with mobile app control for both iOS and Android. (Model YP-RP5R requires the YP-RP5-RFBTM module - sold separately) Connection Tips and Technical Notices Warning: If connecting a trolling motor, large LED light bar, agricultural sprayer or other high current electronic 12V device you MUST use a secondary YP-LDR50 Heavy Duty relay and the correct size gauge of wire on the load side of the relay between the relay and the device you are connecting. You must also use the same size gauge of wire on the battery connection to the relay to insure proper function and protection of your device. Please consult the specifications for the device you are connecting for proper wire sizing BEFORE installation. Make sure the plug-and-play connectors are completely pushed together when connecting the system together. Yak-Power uses our own custom tooled, high tolerance, very snug fitting connectors with larger gauge, real copper wire to ensure a quality, weatherproof and reliable connection. Using other aftermarket connectors or splicing other connectors into the YP system may cause damage to the system or the accessories connected to the system Always make sure the polarity of the main power wire to the relay pack is correctly plugged into its mating battery power wire. The positive male (red wire) side of the relay pack connector should plug into the female (red wire) side of the battery connector and the female (black wire) side of the relay pack connector should plug into the male (black wire) side of the battery connector. This will insure that the relay pack is properly wired to power so that it can communicate with the keypad. If power is not properly connected to the relay pack or if the polarity of the battery connector is wrong, the relay pack will not be powered up and will not be able to communicate with the keypad. This will result in the keypad not fully turning on and the keypad numbers not illuminating. If you are having issues with your wireless switcher turning on, please check the polarity of the main power connector to the relay pack to insure that the battery connector into which you are plugging has the female side on the positive (red) wire and the male side pin connector on the negative (black) wire. Also, please make certain that BOTH clear battery insulator tabs have been removed from the keypad battery compartment on applicable models (YP-RP5WR, YP-RP5W-OR) Review: The Quality You Expect From Yak-Power - Yak-Power sells some high quality stuff and this is no different. It was easy to install and the Bluetooth works great with my iOS. We have all had picky devices that take several tried to get them to sync but I have never had a single issue with this switch. I wish this was available when I was adding accessories to my Polaris Ranger. It would have worked perfectly to streamline everything into one waterproof unit. If I ever upgrade my buggy, it will have one of these in it. Review: Works great - This is the way to go if you’re looking for a very clean set up. Using in an old town sportsman 120. ## Features - KAYAK ELECTRONICS - Easily Add and Control Your 12 - Volt Audio Electronics on Your Kayak - WATERPROOF - Waterproof and Iluminated Control Panel - CONTROL - The YP-RP5R Power Panel Switching System has a Master Power Button for Easy On/Off - RELAY SWITCHING - Waterproof 5 - Outlet Relay Switching Module (Bow, Mid-Ship, Stern, ACC 1, ACC 2) - CURRENT DRAW - Designted for 15 Amps of Total Current Draw - WIRELESS COMPATIBILITY - With All Lowrance HDS Live, HDS Pro, and Elite FS Series Graphs with Software Release 25.2 (Yak Power Model: YP-RP5R requires YP-RP5-RFBTM in Line Remote Module Sold Seperately) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07PQ8RDV9 | | Best Sellers Rank | #85,455 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #319 in Kayak Accessories | | Brand | Yak-Power | | Brand Name | Yak-Power | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 97 Reviews | | Included Components | Keypad and switch box | | Manufacturer | Yak Power | | Material | Copper | | Material Type | Copper | | Model | YP-RP8R | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | YP-RP5R | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Operation Mode:** ON-OFF - **Current Rating:** 15 Amps - **Operating Voltage:** 12 Volts - **Contact Type:** Normally Open - **Connector Type:** Sae - **Brand:** Yak-Power - **Terminal:** Sae - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 5 x 5 x 1.25 inches - **Circuit Type:** 5-way - **Mounting Type:** Plug-In Mount ## Images ![Yak-Power | Power Panel Digital Switching System with Plug-and-Play Connectivity for Easy Addition and Control of Your 12-Volt Electronics on Your Kayak (Wireless (8 Channel)) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91h+2-iWYdL.jpg) ![Yak-Power | Power Panel Digital Switching System with Plug-and-Play Connectivity for Easy Addition and Control of Your 12-Volt Electronics on Your Kayak (Wireless (8 Channel)) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/715cEVGYRrL.jpg) ![Yak-Power | Power Panel Digital Switching System with Plug-and-Play Connectivity for Easy Addition and Control of Your 12-Volt Electronics on Your Kayak (Wireless (8 Channel)) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/810FQEgTw4L.jpg) ![Yak-Power | Power Panel Digital Switching System with Plug-and-Play Connectivity for Easy Addition and Control of Your 12-Volt Electronics on Your Kayak (Wireless (8 Channel)) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81KxTkdqXNL.jpg) ![Yak-Power | Power Panel Digital Switching System with Plug-and-Play Connectivity for Easy Addition and Control of Your 12-Volt Electronics on Your Kayak (Wireless (8 Channel)) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71oTePc5yyL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Quality You Expect From Yak-Power *by S***N on August 9, 2019* Yak-Power sells some high quality stuff and this is no different. Wont be recommending *by J***L on March 15, 2026* Really disappointed these didn't come with the mated connection wires and that they have to be bought separately. That's some b*******. For $200 it should have at least come with the mated connection wires ## Frequently Bought Together - Yak-Power | Power Panel Digital Switching System with Plug-and-Play Connectivity for Easy Addition and Control of Your 12-Volt Electronics on Your Kayak (Wireless (8 Channel)) - Yak-Power Battery Terminal Connector with SAE to Spade Pigtail - Yak-Power SAE Power Plug --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/135312759-yak-power-power-panel-digital-switching-system-with-plug-play](https://www.desertcart.no/products/135312759-yak-power-power-panel-digital-switching-system-with-plug-play) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
