And I'm glad I did read them because I learned that it was adjustable & required a Phillips screwdriver. The hook was a good price, and shipped quickly. It's a decent plastic item that's easy to put together. It fits my cubicle wall which is kind of thick. However, the top of the wall is plastic & rounded, so no matter how much I tighten it, the piece slides around. That's OK. I can hang heavy bags or my coat on it, and that's just what I need it to do. I'm happy with the purchase.
