Review: Sturdy umbrella - It is one of the more sturdy umbrellas I’ve ever owned. It’s great size, comes with a pouch (protects umbrella from rubbing while inside a bag) and is easy to use (open and close with a press of a button). It withstood even high winds and the frame didn’t break after few folds outwards. However, after just over a years use it broke today not because of high winds (23mph) but because of the inside mechanism. As I had it for more than a year I cannot claim a refund. But I will be buying same one again!

**Q: Does this work in gale force winds please despite it not being vented thanks**
A: Depends what you mean by gale-force but I live in Scotland which can be very stormy and have had no problems with this product.

A: Don't know the exact weight but it's a lot heavier than a normal umbrella.

**Q: The button doesn’t work so the umbrella doesn’t close, how can I close it?**
A: My button didn’t close the umbrella first time. Now it closes the material half, you then hold each end in separate hands and push the lower half of the stem Into the top half.

It is one of the more sturdy umbrellas I’ve ever owned. What can I say, it's an umbrella and stops you from getting too wet when it rains. It's larger than expected but is made well. Won't fit easily into your handbag. Only 4 stars given, due to the case, which is not a standard umbrella case, but seems to be made of some odd material. Put the case straight in the bin as it was horrible.
