Would salt water damage this float?

No, I use this in salt water but be careful of the shells at the beach

Which image is correct? The front image and inside image is different.

I don't know exactly what you mean. The float looks just like the picture shown at left; although I was surprised that when ours arrived it was green and not the white as shown in the picture. However, we love it. It's easy to get in and out of and has held up great.
