I recently bought the Daewoo 1-Gang Extension Lead with a 2-metre cable to help manage a slightly awkward plug arrangement behind my TV unit, and it’s been exactly what I needed — no fuss, no frills, just solid performance from a brand I trust.First impressions were good — the packaging is simple, and the product itself is cleanly built. The casing is a bright white plastic, smooth to the touch, and blends in well with walls or skirting. It doesn’t have that cheap, yellowy tinge you sometimes see with budget electricals, and the overall finish feels neat and well-manufactured.The 2-metre cable is a good length for general use. It’s especially handy when the nearest wall socket isn’t quite close enough for a lamp, fan, or phone charger — long enough to give flexibility, but short enough to avoid cable clutter or needing to coil up metres of unused wire. In my case, I used it to power a floor lamp that sits a little too far from the socket to reach without strain, and this extension sorted that without issue.In terms of performance, it’s flawless. The plug fits snugly into the wall, and the socket firmly holds whatever’s connected. There’s no looseness, sparking or crackle — just a safe, reliable connection. Solid construction, trustworthy branding, and no complaints in daily use. Highly recommended if you just need a single socket with a bit of reach — exactly what an extension lead should be.

To keep things looking tidy, I needed an extension cable with a single socket. After some searching, I thought that this would look the best while also being decently solid. It wasn’t any cheaper than a multi gang extension - but I’m still very happy with it. Good buy.
