How tall is it in inches?

The height of the storage tower is 10.5 (10 1/2) inches. If the Nintendo Switch is placed on top of the tower with the dock is about 6.5 inches. Overall about 17 inches tall. I hope that helps?

Will it fit a Starlink controller?

I am not familiar with the starling controller. However, I have an Xbox one x controller and a nitendo pro controller, and 2 joy con grips on my skywin game storage. Hopefully this was helpful.

Has anyone used this in their vehicle to secure their device?

I haven't used it in my vehicle but would say the stand is pretty light and the plastic is not strong. I don't think it would be a good switch stand or storage for a vehicle.
