Review: painfully perfect - This grip tape is nothing shockingly fantastic... but it is exactly what it is meant to be. I've been riding on this tape for about a week now, and ive noticed it is almost painful when I try to pick up my board. My thumbs and palms are all scratchy from being rubbed from the tape too much. It sounds like im talking bad about it, but in all reality that is what I need the tape to do. Ive even got it cut into a diagonal strip design, and I am not having any issues with pealing or breaking (other than in places where I already anticipated it). It grips, it stays, it's black... it's exactly what I needed for what I was using it for.

Its rolled up in a litlle box so when I got it i just flattened it out and put a couple books on it overnight to keep it from curling back into a roll which worked perfectly fine. Was able to apply it to my board with ease. just gotta cut off excess with exacto knife.

**Q: Is it good for tricks?**
A: Yes. This is extremely nice grip tape and it's a steal for only $8. You get amazing grip while it still allows for you to do tricks.

**Q: How do you put on the grip tape?**
A: This product contains a self adhered back in. You might need to warm up the product in cooler months if it is not been acclimated to a warmer room. But essentially you simply peel off the back into the product client to whatever it is you're applying it to, and work bubbles out.

**Q: Is mob grip tape way better? Or is this okay?**
A: This stuff is super rough and strong. As far as I know, mob grip might be a little smoother. But it really depends on what you're looking for. The tougher grip tape is the harder it might be on your shoes but that also means less slipping around, if you're looking to go fast you don't want to fly off when you go into a turn. But if you're just cruising around or dancing you may want to look for something smoother. That's just my guess.

I used this for putting on steps on a wooden ladder and I couldnt be more happy with the result. My initial concern was it wouldnt stick well or it would be hard to cut. I found it was very easy cut to size and I was amazed how well it stuck to the steps. This product is great for much more then just a longboard I would definitely buy again when I need a large quantity of high quality grip tape.
