Any supported controller will work with any supported game. So you can use NES for Genesis games, SNES for GBA games, whatever you like. **Q: Why did the price jump from 99 dollars to 250?** A: It's fluctuating. My first one (returned) was $149. I gave it another chance and it was $129 and now it's $133. Also, look at the seller. Different sellers offer different prices at different times. **Q: Since i ordered my RetroN 5 back in February and i have ordered it for $99.99, does this mean i have to pay extra now that the prices went up?** A: No, Amazon guarantees the price when ordered. **Q: besides what aditional games it plays is there a diffrence between the retron 3 and the retron 5?** A: I have both and the differences are extreme. The Retron 3 emulates the systems in their native resolutions which means if you look at it on an HD TV they don't look very good at all. Retron 5 upscales and the difference is pretty amazing. It also saves your game progress, allows you to use cheats, improves the sound, uses HDMI (Retron 3 can't). Honestly, the differences are huge. It might be best to go to the official Retron 5 site and see what it does. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hyperkin RetroN 5: HD Gaming Console for Game Boy Advance/ Game Boy Color/ Game Boy/ Super NES/ NES/ Super Famicom/ Famicom/ Genesis/ Mega Drive/ Sega Master System (Black) - Hyperkin RetroN 5 3-in-1 Adapter for Game Gear, Master System, and Master System Card - Hyperkin RetroN 5 Bluetooth Wireless Controller (Black) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/1283770-hyperkin-retron-5-hd-gaming-console-for-game-boy-advance](https://www.desertcart.no/products/1283770-hyperkin-retron-5-hd-gaming-console-for-game-boy-advance) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
