Review: Simple and effective - Well, I guess it's actually not simple. I couldn't make it anyway. But it definitely works to help your kids learn to type. Only thing to be aware of is that it only works with older keyboards. It does not fit the newer, thinner kinds. Review: Doesn’t fit any keyboard in our house or office. Not as described. - We threw this in the trash. Horrible quality. No one makes keyboards this deep anymore. This thing would have been great on my IBM keyboard back in 1989. We tried on our Mac desktop, HP chromebook, Dell Laptop and a Dell desktop. Did not sit down onto the keys on any of those keyboards. Total waste of money. We paid shipping too on top of the $17 or so for this flimsy piece of plastic. Save your money and find a better product from a teacher supply store. ## Features - Touch-Typing Training Keyboard Cover — Blocks visual access to letter, number, and punctuation keys to help students focus on tactile typing instead of looking at their fingers. - Supports Keyboard Memorization & Accuracy — Encourages proper touch-typing technique, helping improve key location recognition, typing speed, and accuracy over time. I couldn't make it anyway. But it definitely works to help your kids learn to type. Only thing to be aware of is that it only works with older keyboards. It does not fit the newer, thinner kinds. ### ⭐ Doesn’t fit any keyboard in our house or office. Not as described. *by A***R on October 20, 2021* We threw this in the trash. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Practice *by M***A on February 18, 2009* This was helpful in helping my daughter learn to type without looking. I really only used it when she was "testing" and it was great becuase it's just habit to look at the keys, and even if you accidentally do, you can't see anything, so it helped her get out of the habit! Good for typing teachers and students, or anyone trying to learn to type without looking! ## Frequently Bought Together - Speedskin Learn To Type Keyboard Skin, Not A Mailer - Speedskin UltraSlim by Speedskin - Keyboard Instruction Cover, Slim KB, Apple Laptops --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/12812580-learn-to-type-keyboard-skin-not-a-mailer](https://www.desertcart.no/products/12812580-learn-to-type-keyboard-skin-not-a-mailer) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
