A: Portugal. By the way the Semogue 830 is absolutely my #1 favorite brush, I own 6 Semogue brushes and a few very nice badger brushes, this is my go to.

**Q: what is the difference between Semogue 610, 620 and  830?**
A: Semogue 610: 21mm knot/50mm loft/natural/90% tops
Semogue 620: 21mm knot/50mm loft/dyed/75% tops
Semogue 830: 22-23mm knot/55mm loft/dyed/90% tops
Quality of hair depends on model number and can be found on Semogue website.

**Q: My new brush just arrived has the logo Hereditas instead of the familiar Exelcior.  What is this about?**
A: Hereditas is the new designation for the Excelsior series.
