Does the net have any odor? Planning to use it indoors

No noticeable odor, I have it in my garage as a sliding net for when I want to hit golf balls. Works great. If you want to add more support (just in case) I went and bought fabric at a store to reinforce the areas I’m hitting into often

Is it treated for UV resistance?

Polyester is far more uv resistant than nylon. Therein is your answer.

How far off a concrete wall does it need to be hung to keep golf balls and baseballs from rebounding to fast?

I put an inexpensive drop down net 1 foot inside the back wall and you won’t have a problem.
