Ticks instinctively climb upward from grass and brush. The mesh slows tick ascent, keeping ticks on the treated surface longer while permethrin acts over time. See 20-second video.
- CONTACT TIME MATTERS — Ticks are exposed to built-in durable repellent when they climb onto the treated gaiter. CDC research shows that ticks exposed to permethrin-treated clothing lose normal movement, become sluggish, and drop off.
