Question 1

How do Pearl Probotics compare with popular over the counter brands such as Align?

Accepted Answer

I don't know about the Align brand to compare it with the Enzymatic Therapy Acidophilus Pearls. I do know that the Pearl Probiotics are a three-layered pearl that guarantees delivery of the probiotics into the intestine where they are released intact and healthy to increase intestinal flora. Several scientific studies show Acidophilus Pearls deliver 900% more probiotics to the intestines than the leading competitors. The first layer is a paste of healthy probiotics suspended in a protective oil mixture. The second layer seals the probiotics in the capsule, and protects them from air and moisture. Probiotics are anaerobic organisms and the presence of oxygen can actually injure, weaken, or kill them. The third layer is a patented coating that protects the probiotics from the acid environment of the stomach, so they can successfully reach the intestine where they are needed. Guaranteed active cultures for better digestion*	Contains L. acidophilus and B. longum to increase healthy flora*	True Delivery Technology guarantees delivery of active cultures where you need it.Convenient to take-needs no refrigeration!

Question 2

What's the difference between these and the pearls targeted for yeast infections? This is a much better deal...

Accepted Answer

I have been using these for years (long before they made the other ones targeting yeast infections) to prevent yeast infections and they do work. I am prone to yeast infections because of hormones I'm on. Without these, I get yeast infections regularly. I have never switched to the ones targeted for yeast.

Question 3

Question 4

What is the difference or connection to probiotic and acodopolos?

Accepted Answer

Probiotics are live micro-organisms are found in fermented foods like yogurt and dietary supplements. It is believed to relieve or help digestion problems. Acidophilus is a bacterium (bacteria) that ferments sugars into lactic acid. They are found naturally in our intestines and mouth. And this bacteria/acidophilus in simple terms has the same benefit as the probiotics that we ingest when we buy live culture yogurt and take supplements. So if you buy milk that touts as having acidophilus bacteria, then you are going to drink that milk and has the power of live culture yogurt and supplement. It is just your choice whether you want to eat and drink your priobotics:) or buy a bottle of probiotic tablets from your local drug store and take some. Hope this helps.
