Review: Great for starters - Decided to try my hand at wood carving during the whole quarantine situation, this was surprisingly easy to use and with a few tutorials off of YouTube I’m up and running. I didn’t really know what to expect being that this was my first attempt and with the assistance of some safety gloves for an added layer of protection I felt confident after my first few cuts you will too. You should expect to make errors and break pieces as this is softwood but once you figure out the direction of the grain and the importance of applying pressure you’re going to be on your way with this. would recommend for anybody Review: Excellent quality and reasonable price - The product is exactly as advertised, was easy to order, and was delivered very quickly. I would like to suggest another product modification: same bundle with each stick cut at 45 degree angle length-wise. This would increase product demand from carvers practicing face and spirit images, as well as ornament carvers. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07QH7YRZ9 | | Best Sellers Rank | #540,423 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ( See Top 100 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ) #11,289 in Unfinished Wood | | Brand | CANUSA | | Brand Name | CANUSA | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 299 Reviews | | Item Dimensions | 10 x 8 x 2 inches | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 10 x 8 x 2 inches | | Manufacturer | Canusa Services | | Manufacturer Part Number | 5 | | Material | Basswood | | Material Type | Basswood | | Model Number | 7 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 4 | | Shape | Rectangular prism | | UPC | 768114863194 | | Unit Count | 4 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** CANUSA - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 10 x 8 x 2 inches - **Material:** Basswood - **Number of Pieces:** 4 - **Shape:** Rectangular prism ## Images ![Basswood Carving Blocks - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71cIDJZcT9L.jpg) ![Basswood Carving Blocks - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/7188iKO3pfL.jpg) ![Basswood Carving Blocks - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81pssSk9cyL.jpg) ![Basswood Carving Blocks - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81VDKs44eYL.jpg) ![Basswood Carving Blocks - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/A1sYQFJibsL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for starters *by F***E on October 19, 2020* Decided to try my hand at wood carving during the whole quarantine situation, this was surprisingly easy to use and with a few tutorials off of YouTube I’m up and running. I'm always skeptical about wood I order online. This store gave me exactly what I ordered and I will order from them again.
