Review: Good ink delivery - Great ink replacement
Review: Skip the generics - I received my ACME rollerball as a gift. When first shopping for refills I found they were around $3 each from ACME, then I found Schmidt 888 refills at desertcart that I could get for less than $1 each. For months I used them and thought they were OK, but I recently decided t try the authentic ACME refills and compare. They were $2.40 each ($12 for 5). The ACME refills have a steady ink flow and last much longer. The Schmidt refills sometimes had an irregular flow and only seemed to last a few days. I have not determined how to order a medium point instead of fine point with the ACMEs, so maybe they are only available in fine. The Schmidt were available in fine or medium. Because of the better quality, I will keep using the ACME refills, even if I have to use a fine point instead of a medium.

**Q: My refill cartridge has 909 on the bottom.  the pen is a cch01/r 
chenonceau rollerball. will this refill fit this pen?**
A: I think so since the Chenonceau is also Acme made pen. The number at the bottom of the cartridge could be the ink color code.

**Q: Does this work with the Acme crayon pen?**
A: Yes- the crayon style pen is still a roller ball-takes this refill

**Q: Will this refill fit my parker pen?**
A: I don't think so. This refill has a flat top compared to a Parker refill which has a screw-like top.

**Q: Does this fit the Retro 51 Crayola pen?**
A: All I can tell you is I have owned 1/2 dozen ACME pens of different shapes and styles and they all use the same roller ball refill

I bought a beautiful artist made roller ball pen at our local Art Museum. I did have a concern about finding refills for it. When the time came, I took the refill out of the pen itself, measured the refill size and appearance and began looking on Amazon. I found this one from ACME and ordered it. It was a perfect fit! I am a happy camper!
