We tested it just hooked to the radio at first and everything was fine, so we spent the next 3 hours routing the cables and replacing the rear door hatch handle with this unit. Then closed the gate and checked the camera to make sure everything was still working and with it in place it points straight at the ground. It's completely useless, you get maybe 5 or 6 feet of view... so you see the tires of other cars but not what's behind you.
