You can also use after an oil change, but TECHRON recommends NOT to use more than twice during a new oil change. I use during the last 500 miles (whole bottle) on near empty tank & run the car until the reserve light comes on. Been using this for at least 20 years. If the car runs rough, you can pour in a bottle twice, like every 2,500 miles, or repeat the process, whichever you want to do. For best results, try & do as much highway driving after pouring in & make sure to drive at least 5-10 miles to get it up in the lines & all before turning the engine off. It freed up stuck top rings and cleaned off the carbon deposits on the pistons.I also bought it as a fuel stabilizer athough I have no intenion of testing it to the two year storage life of my fuel.Only over the winter. Since it has a big engine and I have previously cleaned the fuel injector and modified the fuel pump to push out more fluids than the original, I wanted to have preventive maintainence. I then found out about this product. It had nothing but good reviews so this is for peace of mind. As I get older, I ride less meaning I don't ride in the rainy or snowy weather anymore. I ride my bike mostly summer time. That being said, I would put this inside a full tank of gas and run it for a few minutes every week or month just to get the chemicals through the engine.
