Naturally Sweet and Healthy Tropical Dried Fruit Mix
Pros: • The fruit types used in the mix. • They taste fresh, lightly sweetened, and natural as said by Gerbs. • The resealable zipper bags to lock in the freshness after opening them. • Their versatile use. Cons: • Some pieces do feel harder than others • The amount of extra natural sugars added (Sugar Cane). I was looking for a tropical fruit mix to add to my cereal and with my pumpkin and sunflower seeds to make a trail mix blend of my own when I came across this mango, papaya, and pineapple mix. After doing some extra research, I decided to buy this mix and try it. At first glance, I thought that I had made a mistake in this purchase because I saw some sugar residue clinging to the inside of the bag and around the individual fruit pieces, but when I opened the resealable zipper bag, I could smell the freshness of the individual fruits. I picked out one of each fruit to feel if the coating of sugar would stick to my fingers like some other brands I had tried. There was a slight stickiness but not too bad. When I took out a handful, some chunks where a bit harder than others. Overall, I will give this tropical dried fruit mix a five-star rating for its freshness, sweet natural flavors, and versatile use.

Delicious! Great texture. Decent moisture but not too much. Great quality with lots of flavor. Great quantity but a little pricey. Worth it though!

Very good! Sweetness just right. I like the uniformity of the pieces of fruit making it easy to mix other ingredients with it (like nuts and cranberries)

Allergy safe
Gerbs seeds and dried fruit are fantastic. So happy to find these products are peanut and tree nut free. Our allergy detection dog consistently clears Gerb’s products as safe, which is a nice double check on a great product.

Very sweet.
I buy several of the Gerbs dried fruits and love them. However the Tropical Fruit is too sweet and like a candy. Sugar is the dominant flavor followed by a mild pleasant fruit taste. A few other commenters noted this. Since it cannot be returned, think carefully before you buy. I am out $26.
