## Description

The easy, reliable solution that tails your cat, Cat Tailer! Do you have trouble finding your cat when you want her to come inside? Does your cat wander off and ignore your calls? Cat Tailer broadcasts a very low energy wireless homing beacon that is picked up by your smartphone. Based on the strength of the signal, the Cat Tailer smartphone application determines APPROXIMATELY how far you are from your pet. Cat Tailer is NOT GPS. It does not provide exact information about the precise location of your pet. Rather, Cat Tailer is an effective method for finding your pet within your yard or neighborhood. Cat Tailer will you search the approximate area for your furry friend. Operating without GPS, Cat Tailer is small and lightweight (unlike pet GPS locators) and will not slow your pet's natural movements. Cat Tailer has a very long, 6 month battery life since it does not support a battery-wasting GPS! *Our application does require location services to be active all the time. This is a requirement of the smartphone operating system and is not our requirement. If you are unhappy with the performance of your device, please directly contact us and we will work with you until you and your pet are pleased!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this cat tracker made in China?**
A: No, Cat Tailer was designed in the USA by Ambystoma Labs and the printed circuit board assembly is built in New Hampshire. Final assembly, programming and testing of Cat Tailer is done at our office in Massachusetts. Like all electronic devices we do have to source parts globally so some components are made in China and other countries.

**Q: It’s not as good as tile is it? it not a gps so it can’t track out of range can it???**
A: I am here because I got an expensive GPS pet tracker. We moved it from the front of the house to a barn in the back, that's it. Yet the GPS "path" showed the tracker going in a giant 200-300 foot star pattern all around our neighborhood. The GPS is so inaccurate it is a joke.

**Q: do you need wi fi ??**
A: No wifi needed. This operates on Bluetooth.

**Q: Can two mobile phones use the app for one tracker. Installed on husbands phone and would like to install on mine.**
A: Yes, it can! The CAT TAILER mobile phone app can easily be used on more than one phone at a time because the FREE app is not a GPS paid prescription like most typical trackers. The unique download is basically a 'self-contained' tracking system applicable within your iPhone(s) and can accurately identify your 'lost' item and/or track a feline's collar up to 300 feet from your phone, which is a full 100-yard radius! If a signal is not obtained at this maximum range, all you have to do is continue walking around to your pet's previously known hideouts, etc. Personally, I purchased the CAT TAILER for myself after a friend of mine that highly recommended it to me from being a not only a reliable product, and even waterproof, but best of all a completely free download app and NO MONTHLY USER FEES!! :-)
