What is the intended application of this cream? I am confused.

Your butt. Literally, your butt. Keeps it fresh :).

Looking for an antiperspirant/deoderant for my testes when I travel that doesn't leave a powdery residue. Is that this, or is this more of a lube?

This is definitely not a lube, more of a men's fragrance. I like it...the smell seems to last all day here in Texas. I use it to cover men's odor.

Does this have the general, generic "male" smell (heavy, dark cologne scent) you find in most "male scented" on the market?

No way! Totally different. A much cleaner scent. No real cologne smell.
