This is a very high quality robot. I am a Tool Maker so I know quality and precision when I see it. The assembly manual is very good, with only a few minor discrepancies. Use a little common sense and good judgment and you'll have no problems. Now for the bad, 2 stars, because everything is in Japanese. The documentation, and the software. You can find English versions, but you'll have to do a little surfing on the web. I downloaded the English version of the software and manual on the web. If your really good with computers, you'll have no problems getting the software up and running. The software manual itself just sucks. When you finally figure it out the software itself is not to bad. Although the software is not completely translated, it has some notes and warnings still in Japanese. Also there seems to be very little support trying to find accessories, such as the remote controller, and I fear more Japanese documentation for it. To me Kondo doesn't seem very interested in selling there product overseas. In conclusion, this robot I think, would not be a good choice for the first one.
