Strong webbing loops and D rings enable customization and can also be used to secure the crate to your kayak. Also, if I have to reach to the bottom for anything the sides just fold down like you would expect from a soft material, instead of just sitting there and scratching or causing pain pushing against your arm. Works perfect for me.

I must have every kayak crate ever made, and a couple I made myself, but this one is the first I have felt completely comfortable with. Not sure of all the reasons, but I am only 5'7" tall and its low profile makes it easier to see inside and easier to reach into than most. It is light and holds 12 of the smaller Plano style tackle boxes which is plenty for me. I just like its design, the material, and the size...all good! Also, if I have to reach to the bottom for anything the sides just fold down like you would expect from a soft material, instead of just sitting there and scratching or causing pain pushing against your arm. Works perfect for me.

Holds everything I need plus more. I haven’t taken it on the water yet but I left it in the rain last night and everything inside stayed dry. I wish it had little rubber feet so it didn’t slide around as easily but once tied down it’s very secure. There is a little drain hole in the inside and with the lift from the feet if any water does get in it will drain out easily. I’m really liking this box. Extremely lightweight yet seems very durable. Folds up for easy storage in my RV and quickly pops out when ready to use.
