Review: Cheaper than Posca... - I purchased these pens on the recommendation of a rock group I'm a member of. After you've primed the pen they work very well indeed. Most of the colours are vibrant and work really well on most surfaces, including rocks. These are way cheaper than Posca pens so are very good value for money. I do still prefer the Posca pens though for depth of colour. Some of the colours do not look like the pen lids though so you may want to test them first. These also blend really nicely with a brush and a little water - much better than the Posca pens do. On the negative side I cannot easily use micron pens over the top of these colours which is not a problem for the other brand. However, it may just mean I need to get some different microns. I would recommend these pens, and I've also recently got some of the metallic ones which are completely awesome and in my opinion better than these ones! The colours are lovely, the nibs on the pens are nice and fine for detailing yet strong which is important when pressing down for more paint. I baked my glass in the oven on 160% for an hour (always start in a cold oven and remove afterwards when oven is cold) or your masterpiece will smash. I then washed and dried the painted glass and the paint stayed on which is fantastic! How do you fix them and do they then wash ok?** A: Excellent on leather. Good results on denim but have to build up Couple of layers. Wash gently in cool wash should be fine. It is just acrylic paint that is water fast once dry **Q: How can I speak to somebody about these pens which I have without opening a return, Im having issues with lots of them** A: I'm not an expert as I only just bought them myself. If the fluid is not coming through it might take a little while as you have to shake them when first use, then keep pressing down the point on a piece of paper, quite a few times. Hope that helps. **Q: Is the ink permanent on say a rock, or can I/should I bake them in the oven and if I do, will they fade?** A: The ink shows better on light coloured stones or white acrylic painted stones When finished I give them one or two coats of Halfords clear lacquer. I find it just finishes them and adds some protection. Hope this info helps I also block in larger areas with artist acrylic coloured paints **Q: Would these work on Terracotta pots?** A: Yes, they will work perfectly.
