essence I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara, Flake Free, Black (Pack of 1)

I have been a dedicated user of a $30 high-end department store mascara for years, but after seeing so much buzz about Essence, I decided to give the I Love Extreme Crazy Volume (the bright pink tube) a try. I am officially a convert. This stuff is absolutely incredible if you love bold, dramatic lashes.Here is why it has earned a permanent spot in my makeup bag. Insane, Instant Volume: True to its name, this gives you a "false lash" effect in just one or two coats. It coats every single lash in a deep, intense jet-black that makes your eyes instantly pop. If you prefer a subtle, natural look, this might be too intense for you—but if you want drama, thickness, and length, this is it. The Wand is Perfect: Unlike the classic version which has a huge fiber brush, the Crazy Volume version has a molded plastic/elastomer wand with short bristles. It does an amazing job of grabbing the lashes right at the root, lifting them, and separating them so they don’t turn into one giant clump. Zero Flaking or Smudging: I wear this for 10+ hour workdays and it holds up beautifully. No raccoon eyes by 5 PM, and I haven't noticed any annoying black flakes falling onto my cheeks. Cruelty-Free: Love supporting a brand that is certified cruelty-free.

This mascara doesn’t smudge,flake or run! I bought this on a whim as i usually use the lash princess one. This mascara held up beautifully during carnival weekend, I was out in the heat and humid night..about 18 hours outside! This mascara will hold up after a drunk sweaty night with friends,a spicy hookup and will not budge if you shed a tear..or sob! It is incredible. It makes my lashes look full and beautiful! I would recommend curling your lashes before application to get a more full/falsies look. It doesn’t irritate my eyes and doesn’t leave a film or flake on my contacts. The brush is a bit big which is my only complaint! It did get on my lid during application but a q tip and micellear water takes care of that. This is now my holy grail mascara! I’ve raved to all my friends about it and they are now hooked !

Just buy it. I was on the fence with this brand because of mixed reviews but this does wonders for my lashes. I like this one and call me queen I do hope to try more. There is some mascara fall out but I've experienced that with most brands and idk, I just really like it even though that happens. I've experienced the fall out with other more expensive brands. 4 dollars is my budget in this time period

To preface, I prefer a more natural look so i'm not using a ton (buttt a little goes a long way), and I dont curl my lashes so I can't speak on how it holds a curl. Now that being said, formula and application is really smooth. I love the wand shape especially because it spaces the eyelashes exactly how I like it. Lastly, love that its cruelty-free. It's by far the best formula/wand/mascara I have used. Love.

I've been meaning to write a 5 star review for this mascara for some time now, because this mascara WAS perfect. I'm VERY picky with my mascara and have tried almost everything on the market. For many years I used Le Volume and this is the first and only mascara that ever came close to providing the volume and (importantly) separation of my lashes. I discovered this mascara about a year ago through online searches for dupes and knew when I saw the wand that this might be the one. Sure enough it was perfect and gave me the same results for a fraction of the price. I bought MANY more as gifts for others and have recommended it to countless others. Then, earlier this year, essence inexplicably changed the wand. It is no longer sturdy and is very flexible/bendy. Now, application is much messier, requiring more stability on my part. Most importantly, it doesn't separate lashes AT ALL because there's no grip on the wand since it bends. Worst of all, when they changed the wand they also tweaked the tube itself, so the old wand cannot screw in to the new mascara tube. It looks almost identical, but the old wand will not screw on to the new tube. So now, I have to keep one new tube with the mascara to apply (looks like a sloppy toddler did it with this new wand), and one old tube with the wand that actually works (to actually make the lashes look good). I'm sure it's not great to keep using this old wand for months on end, but what's a girl to do? That was the functional part of this item that made me love it, and now they've basically ruined it. WHY did you do this essence?! Please give us the old stiff wand back, or make a new mascara with the old wand, or sell the old wand stand-alone with a cap that screws in to the new package. Please I'm literally begging to go back to the perfect product you had.

It’s a little flakey but it last and is a really good product for its price

Very vibrant and buildable. I have dark eyelashes and the color showed up very clearly which was what I was hoping for. It's not dry at all and was very easy to use with minimum flaking if at all. Very high quality for the price. I just wish there was a red mascara option.

I bought it because I heard that it gives you volume on lashes and it's true! At very first open it looks dry for me but then when the cream texture touches the brush that's when you start using it. The brush makes the difference here, it's small and can touch every lash there. Amazing! Usually, my mascara cost 100aed and above but now the game changes!

Uso questo mascara da tempo, è davvero bello, colore molto saturo, facile da stendere grazie allo scovolino che crea un bel ventaglio. Semplice anche la rimozione, nulla da invidiare alle marche più costose

I don't usually buy mascara for volume, let alone blue, but this product impressed me. It gives beautiful volume to the lashes, doesn't weigh them down excessively, and keeps them curled and elongated throughout the day. It lasts well without spreading or crumbling under the eyes. The blue is intense, bright, beautifully accentuating the color of the eyes. It feels light on the lashes and the formula is neither too wet nor too waxy. The brush is made of soft silicone and didn't bother me when applying. I really like it.
