I am notorious for killing houseplants. I never know how much or how often to water them. I either over-water or under-water them. But these are perfect, because the plant regulates for itself how much and how fast it requires water. I simply check each one daily, and if it is empty, I refill it. Otherwise, I leave it alone. This is especially great when you have a wide variety of large and small houseplants. For larger plants, I even put in 2 bulbs so that I don’t have to refill them every day and so that the plant won’t die if I leave town for a week without anyone coming over to water them. These are beautiful and don’t detract from the plant by being an eyesore. However, with them being glass, if you drop them, they are likely to crack and won’t work anymore, so you have to be careful with them and make sure that they are secure in the soil so that they don’t fall out.
